SUMMER SESSION SCHEDULE
With the end of the dance year quickly approaching, you are
no doubt making your summer plans. Whether your plans are to vacation or go to
camp, keep in mind that Steppin’ Up Dance will have a summer dance session. If
you want to improve as a dancer it is vital that you take class all year round.
Summer time is a time to focus solely on technique.
We do not start any
choreography during the summer so that each dancer can completely focus on
improving their technique. Taking class all year round is especially important
for students who already compete or want to compete next year. Summer time is a
chance for you to prove yourself and show that you deserve to compete. Summer is
also the time when we pick dancers to be in Production.
This is a highly
competitive class that is by invitation only. Summer is a chance to earn a spot
in this class or show us you deserve to remain in the class. Even if you do not
want to compete, summer session is great for staying active and in shape. Dance
is a sport just like football and basketball. Football players run and lift
weights in the off-season; dancers take technique classes. We do not expect you
to cancel your summer vacations or camps, but when you are in town you should be
in class. Below is the schedule for summer session and the tuition rates.

If you are unsure
of which classes you should take, please check with any of the Steppin’ Up
instructors.
*The studio will
be closed Friday through Sunday during Summer Session*
Tuition Rates: During the summer, we offer special
discounted rates. You can choose to pay per class or you can choose to pay one
fee for unlimited classes during the entire summer session.
Per Class (pro-rated) Fee:
$15 per class
(must be paid prior to taking the class)
Unlimited Classes:
$150 for the entire
six-week session paid up front for the full session for one student; $175 for
families. Space will be extremely limited (This is a great deal considering
some pay this a week for daycare!)
